Among the measures submitted to the Quebec government during the 1995 “Marche du pain et des roses” were requests to improve the working conditions of housekeepers.
Inspired by this march and the 1996 Economic and Employment Summit, Services West-Nette was officially recognized in 1997 as a social economy business offering domestic help services.
